CSI's Data Migration and Conversion services help companies achieve faster project completion, improve data quality and most importantly, reduce risk and accelerate time to market. CSI has a long history of data conversions expertise. Our initial core competency was performing Platform Migrations (software and data) involving mainframe to midrange and then to client/server platforms. A successful conversion/migration methodology was developed along with a technology toolkit to automate as much of these conversions as possible.
We then expanded our capabilities into data warehousing and data management, which is our key focus today. Our data conversion methodology focuses on data quality by using automated data profiling tools, an inventory of events to define field mapping and an extensive data validation process.
