Conversion Services International Provides Strategy for International Financial Group

Assessment creates strategy that improves operational productivity, enterprise information value

EAST HANOVER, N.J. (November 7, 2006) - - Conversion Services International, Inc. (AMEX: CVN), a premier professional services firm focused on delivering the value in business intelligence, data warehousing and data management solutions to Global 2000 organizations and other businesses, today announced its completion of an enterprise information management (EIM) and master data management (MDM) strategy services for an international financial group.

The 25-year-old financial group — offering a wide array of retail and commercial banking products for customers in the Middle East and London — was dealing with the challenges of managing data and leveraging data captured throughout various distribution channels. The client’s business policies for capturing data varied by product, and responsibility for data quality was dispersed throughout the organization, creating challenges in data consistency, data quality and availability of critical information for making strategic decisions.

CSI developed an enterprise management and master data management strategy for this client focused on creating consistent business and data quality processes across product and distribution channels, as well as an information architecture that would provided consistent synchronization among the various systems. The strategy also incorporated a data stewardship and governance program to develop and apply best practices for data integrity across the organization.

According to William McKnight, CSI’s senior vice president of data warehousing, “EIM is a holistic look at information flow within an organization. It comprises MDM, data warehousing, business intelligence, operational business intelligence, EII and other forms of intra-operational information exchange. Many companies have embraced the importance of information to their strategic objectives, yet lack a solid information foundation from which to achieve information excellence. Our strategies focus on the effects of information on the bottom line and enable companies to take full advantage of the information asset. This client can look forward to operational productivity as well as enhanced customer management across various customer channels as the value of their enterprise information increases exponentially.”
