DeLeeuw Associates to Participate in IQPC Lean Six Sigma Summit in Las Vegas

-Executive from Leading Professional Services Firm to Present Case Study on Using Lean Six Sigma in a Not-for-Profit Corporation-

EAST HANOVER, N.J. (July 18, 2006) - - DeLeeuw Associates, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Conversion Services International, Inc. (AMEX: CVN), a premier management consulting organization specializing in integration, reengineering and project management solutions to Global 2000 organizations and other businesses, today announced its participation in IQPC’s Lean Six Sigma West Summit in Las Vegas, September 27-28, 2006.

Bryan Carey, executive vice president and leader of DeLeeuw Associates’ Lean Six Sigma Practice will present a client case study on Using Lean Six Sigma to Introduce Customer Service in a Non-Profit Corporation on Thursday, September 28. This case study, co-presented with Frank Deno, deployment leader and manager of the Process and Quality Management Group at New York Independent Systems Operations (NYISO), covers how a Lean Six Sigma effort has quickly moved organizational culture to accept change and mature towards excellence in less than a year.

According to Carey, “Implementing a successful Lean and Six Sigma initiative requires building acceptance and awareness through a well-designed strategy, as well as creating a deployment plan for all phases of the change from initiation through implementation. This case study will demonstrate how NYISO has achieved incredible results in moving its culture from one of technical execution to one of quality, customer satisfaction, and process excellence.”

In addition, Carey will present a pre-conference workshop with Six Sigma Black Belt Jeff Stroud covering the basic building blocks of a Six Sigma deployment that will enable key stakeholder buy-in, filter project selection, and actually spark the required culture shift within an organization.
