Conversion Services International to Participate in TDWI Spring World Conference in Chicago

-Executive from Leading Professional Services Firm to Present New Course on Master Data Management-

EAST HANOVER, N.J. (May 8, 2006) - - Conversion Services International, Inc. (AMEX: CVN), a premier professional services firm focused on delivering the value in business intelligence, data warehousing and data management solutions to Global 2000 organizations and other businesses, today announced its participation at The Data Warehousing Institute (TDWI) Spring 2006 World Conference in Chicago, May 14-19, 2006.

William McKnight, senior vice president of Data Warehousing at Conversion Services International (CSI), will teach a new full-day course on master data management, Thursday, May 18. This course will review master data management (MDM) concepts, rationales, organization, architecture options, and implementation milestones, yielding best practices for reducing redundancy, duplication, and inconsistency of data.

According to McKnight, “More complex and demanding business environments are forcing more heterogeneous systems environments. Data integration is required to synchronize master data in order to get a single, consistent view of an enterprise’s core business entities—customers, products, suppliers and employees. MDM enables enterprisewide master data synchronization. Given that effective master data for any subject area requires input from multiple applications and business units, enterprise master data needs a formal management system. Business approval, business process change, and capture of master data at optimal, early points in the data lifecycle are essential to achieving true enterprise master data.”

In addition, Mark Albala, CSI’s director of Solution Services, will be instructing a TDWI night course on radio frequency identification (RFID) which will take place May 18 from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m.

McKnight and Albala will be available for consultation as part of TDWI’s Guru Program, where conference attendees can secure free, 30-minute, one-on-one consulting sessions from an industry expert.

CSI is a partner member of TDWI, the premier provider of in-depth, high-quality education and research in the business intelligence (BI) and data warehousing (DW) industry.
